Trinity is fortunate to have more than its share of committed enthusiastic, talented alumni volunteers. Congratulations to these members of the Trinity community who were recognized with 2022 Arbor Awards, U of T’s highest honour for volunteer service: Ian L. Forsyth ’70; Sharon C. Geraghty ’83; Neil Hrab ’99; Susan E. M. Huggard ’51; the Rev. Canon Dr. Darcey R. Lazerte ’94, ’96 (M.Div),’13 (D.Min); Charles Pick ’90; Ivor Simmons (member of the Trinity College Friends of the Library); and Anthony Vaz ’12. The Arbor Awards recognize U of T volunteers who, through their exemplary generosity, make sustained and valuable contributions to the experience of U of T students, faculty members, staff and alumni.

Congratulations also to Gerry Noble ’81, who received a 2022 Chancellor William C. Graham Award for volunteering his expertise and guidance to the College in multiple roles. The Chancellor William C. Graham Awards were created in 2019 by Trinity’s 12th Chancellor, The Hon. Bill Graham. They recognize individuals who have made a significant impact on the Trinity community. Awards are given annually in each of four categories: current students; administrative and service staff; academic staff, faculty, librarians, fellows, associates and teaching staff; and alumni.
